Sarah I. Boone

Miss Boone was a native of Alamance County and a was a daughter of the late Turner H. and Ruth Whitesell Boone. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, John S. Boone, Sr. and W. Keith Boone, Sr. She was retired from Enka Corp and was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Asheville. She was a former resident of Gibsonville where she was a member of Sharon Lutheran Church.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, March 25, at Gibsonville City Cemetery with the Rev. Robert R. Childs officiating.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, April 1, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Asheville with the Rev. David L. Martin officiating.

Her family will receive friends from 6:30 - 8:00 pm Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home in Burlington.
