Selma Brown Hill

Mrs. Hill was born in Madison County and was a daughter of the late John and Liza Jane Austin Brown. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Castille, by two sons, Zane Hill and Monroe Hill, and by one grandson, Randy Hill. She was a member of Living Hope Christian Fellowship.
Surviving are one sister, Mary Sluder of Enka; one brother, Burnette Brown of Marshall; one daughter-in-law Bonnie Hill Ledford of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Sheila Owenby and Chuck Hill; ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday at Little Sandy United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Robert L. Jackson officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Tuesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue and at other times will be at the home of Chuck Hill, 231 Beaverdam Loop Road.
I sure did enjoy my talks with granny Hill.She was a fine person. May God bless you all.Phil
