  1. I have known Shannon since we were in the first grade. He was a good friend and person. Wish he could have spent many more years with the family he always wanted. He will be missed.

  2. Wow I just had the strongest feeling.
No Shannon didn’t speak to me. lol
But I somehow feel like I need to let you know that Shannon couldn’t be with his kids the way he wanted to be, so he is going to be with them through Kim, he is going to guide her and love her, walk with her everyday. He is going to be there in the tough times and the good times, just keep your heart open to him and let him shine through you.

  3. Shannon was a big part of our lives. We know he is at peace with the Lord. Our love and prayers are with Kim,Barbara and the children. We will always be family.

  4. Kim you gave your all to care for Shannon and we at Park Ridge Home Health are so proud of you and were glad to have served along side of you.

  5. Kim, kids, and family; we just wanted to let you know we were sad to hear of your loss however we know that Shannon was a great person and will always be in your hearts. God will give you the guidence to get through the hard times and we will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

  6. I have known Shannon since he was 6 years old. He and my son ,Rob, were close friends and even roommates at Northeast. We often thought of him. He was so happy with his family. His loss will be felt by many. All of us were proud of your success.

  7. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I grew up with Shannon in Colfax. We attended elementary through high school together. I have many fond memories. Shannon was a great person and an awesome friend. He will be missed.

  8. My old running buddy Shannon (Gondo)I have not seen him in several years but I will miss him none the less! He was the kind of friend you call in a pinch and would not think twice of doing the same for. May God watch over your family .

  9. Kim is one of the most loving and wonderful caregivers I have ever seen. She truly was there for Shannon and the children for every moment and every step of the way. The love between this family touched so many hearts. I will be keeping this sweet family in my thoughts and prayers and know that God is holding them in the palm of his hand.

  10. Precious Kim, I am so sorry for your loss. What great love, heart & courage you have shown. What a fine man Shannon must have been, and the love you shared, tremendous.Though I never met either of you in person the tribute of his obituary and the words in his guest book speak volumes for the people you are. May God hold you close & give you peace. You are in my thoughts & prayers. Colette

  11. Uncle Shannon…this obituary doesn’t even begin to describe you in a nut-shell. I could go on for days (I have been) about how important you are, and always will be, to me. You are (and always will be) my favorite uncle! No one has ever paid attention to what I have to say like you did. You debated with me about politics, listened to my thoughts and the things I had learned recently. You made me feel safe on numerous occasions. You made me laugh every moment I was with you. You gave me a warm feeling when I would see you play with your children and teach Luke football moves while rooting for the Steelers during a game. I could go on and on, but you know how I feel about you!

Shannon’s memory will never, ever, dwindle. I will always remember his uniqueness, and ability to be different. He will forever live through Kim and his children. Kim took care of Shannon better than most professionals could have, and loved him in every way possible. Now, is the time for everyone who knew Shannon to help teach little Megan and Luke everything they know about Shannon. This is what he would want, and this one of the things I promised him I would do.

I love you Uncle Shannon <3
I love you Aunt Kim <3

'Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow,May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.'

  13. My Dear Sweet Husband,

I love you more today than ever before. I can’t say I do not miss you because ‘you’ KNOW I do!

It still amazes me that out of the whole world, I would find the one person who would make my life complete. We were both at the right place and at the right time in our lives to fall in love.

I am so thankful for EVERY MIRACLE that happened to bring us together. Every miracle given to us during the time we had together here in this world. And today, especially, I realize once again that our love was truly meant to be.

I love you Shannon, I will always love you. Thank you for allowing God to move in our lives. Thank you for our children who you will be able to live on forever through them. Thank you for loving me! I miss you so much but we will all be together soon and what a rejoicing day that will be. I see Blurple Sweetie. How awesome is that? Save a dance for me okay… I love you

  17. My Sweet Hubby,

It is Christmas Eve and I miss you so much. I am keeping all of our family traditions going. We just watched Its a Wonderful Life and the babies are tucked away in bed. I found some of your gifts you left for us. They are under the tree for in the morning. Give Jesus a huge Happy Birthday hug for us and have fun with Him. I love you Shannon today, tomorrow and through eternity. Merry Christmas Sweetie.

    Your Wife,
