Sharon Ruth Williams Brogden, 52, of Hendersonville, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Elizabeth House. A native of Henderson County, Sharon was a daughter of Lloyd Maynard Williams and of the late Dollie McKinna Williams. Surviving in addition to her father are her husband, Lathe Eugene Brogden; daughter, Courtney Ball and husband Brandon; son, Cameron Brogden granddaughter, Ellie Ball; sister, Nancy Durmire and husband Robert; and brother, Mike Williams and wife Cathy; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services for Mrs. Brogden will be held on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian, 72 Long Shoals Rd., Arden, NC. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.

  24. My sincerest condolences to all of her family and friends. I only heard today about Sharon’s passing today as I had only known her for the past several years from being a vendor to where she worked. She was always a pleasure to work with and such a kind spirit.
