Sharon Ruth Williams Brogden, 52, of Hendersonville, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Elizabeth House.
A native of Henderson County, Sharon was a daughter of Lloyd Maynard Williams and of the late Dollie McKinna Williams.
Surviving in addition to her father are her husband, Lathe Eugene Brogden; daughter, Courtney Ball and husband Brandon; son, Cameron Brogden granddaughter, Ellie Ball; sister, Nancy Durmire and husband Robert; and brother, Mike Williams and wife Cathy; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services for Mrs. Brogden will be held on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian, 72 Long Shoals Rd., Arden, NC. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.

I am so sorry for your families loss. Sharon was such a sweet and precious lady. We enjoyed her time with us and truly enjoyed the fun and laughter….and the outings we had with the family. I was so sorry to hear about Sharon. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family. I really enjoyed working with her at Brownings and considered her a friend even after we all went our separate ways.
