Sharon Trexler Petrey, 74, of Asheville, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024.
Born February 9, 1950 in Buncombe Co., Sharon was a daughter of the late Ernest M. Trexler and Ann Margaret Jones Trexler. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sherrie Nash.
Surviving is her husband, Alvis Petrey; daughter, Ashlie Oetman; son, James Carver; sisters, Gloria Roberts and Jan Ellis; grandchildren, Josh (Kara) Nash, Brandon (Morgan) Nash, Danielle (Nicole) Hayes, Destiny (Colby) Carver and Brannon Carver; two great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 20, in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home.
