Shirley overflowed with love, kindness, compassion and faith. Her remarkable spirit and dedication to serving others seemed to come so easily. Shirley loved her family and friends unconditionally and it showed. This lady displayed strength and dedication through life’s good times, and courage and forgiveness during life’s challenging times. What a blessing to have known her and loved her—and I did! Her greatest gift to me was her daughter. Vicki, like her mother, is a treasure, a dear best friend. I will be forever grateful!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Dearest family, our hearts were saddened when we heard of Shirley’s home going. She was a joy. Our friendship began years ago in Maggie Valley. Shirley will be so missed. She loved her family so much. May God give you all
the strength and comfort for the many days ahead. Fly high our angel.
