Shirley Burrell Keever, 78, of Asheville, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.
Shirley was born May 10, 1943 to the late Maretta Owenby and Floyd Burrell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Keever and daughter-in-law Stephanie Keever.
She is survived by her son, John Keever, Jr. (Amanda Capps) and daughters; Barbara Curry (Mike), Colleen Owenby (Kenny), and Melina Manning (Danny); seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Shirley has one living sister, Doris Shepherd of Asheville.
Shirley was very passionate about all kinds of flowers and loved to garden. She will be deeply missed by her family.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home Tunnel Road with the Pastor Ronald Roberts officiating with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Gashes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
