Guestbook

  1. Debra, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you say goodbye to the most important woman in your life. Even though this is such a sad time, please find peace in knowing you will get to see her again one day, and ole what a precious reunion that will be. May her memories forever live in your heart.

  2. Some people are so pivotal in your life that you just can’t believe the earth can go on spinning without them. Your beautiful Shirley is one of those. However I am so glad that she is with the LORD- well and beaming with a smile even more joyous and beautiful than ever. I thank the LORD that HE gave her a smooth passing and that this great loss and separation are only temporary. My love and prayers.

  3. Please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers in this sad time. We pray your precious memories of Shirley will sustain you. We know she is rejoicing with the Lord and family and friends who have gone before. She was such an important part of my childhood and I will always treasure my memories of a very special lady. Love you all…Jan (and husband Larry)

  4. The years have passed so quickly, but please know I have thought of your mother and all of you so very often. I have such fond childhood memories of spending time at your house during summer vacations and all the swimming, camping, and barbecuing. The angels are surely embracing this gracious and grace-filled woman. God bless you all with peace in knowing she is in her heavenly home. Love, Anita

  5. Loved being around her and going on our trips together. She will be missed. Love to the family.

  6. Dear Alexander family,
We were saddened to hear of your Mother’s passing. She was a sweet and special lady. My earliest memory of her is singing ‘little blue man’ with your Dad. God bless each of you as you walk this sad road.
In HIM, Frank and Martha Farmer (Ballinger)

  7. Dear family, so very sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing! She was a beautiful and gracious lady in every way. Her smile could light up a room and make everyone know they would be welcome in her presence! May knowing that she is safe in the arms of our Lord give you comfort in your loss!

  9. Bob and I send our sympathy for Shirley’s death. Frank and Shirley were friends, fishing buddies and we loved the Outer Banks with them as they introduced them to us.
Shirley was a dear Bible Teacher of our Sunday School Class at Grace. In the Early years she and Frank worked much with the young people organizations as leaders at camps and retreats of our Church youth.
    We will miss her.

  10. To all the Alexander family I wish to extend my sympathy at the passing of your Mother, Sister, MawMaw or any other family who reads this. I remember as a young boy growing up in Grace Baptist Church and having the privilege of getting to know Frank and Shirley as my teacher. I always liked them both very much and just remember how beautiful Shirley was. She had a grace about her and now she has her Heavenly Crown. God Bless You I was so glad I got to know you

  11. Sherry, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

  12. Dearest Sherry, Debra and Kristy,
So sorry to learn of your sweet Mother’s passing. Just know that I am thinking of you during this time and trust that God will pull his loving arms around each of you.

  13. I recently read about the death of your dear loved one. Even though we are not acquainted please accept our sincerest condolences. Job 1:2,18,19 & Job 10:1 says: ‘ I will give vent to my concern about myself. I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.’ This was after the loss of his 10 children. Job needed to vent his concerns, he needed someone to talk to. Having someone to talk to may help you and your family cope during this difficult time.
