  4. Anna, Margaret McLean & Clay,
I am so sorry to hear about Sidney’s passing. He touched many people and many lives. He was a true mentor to me, not only at First Citizens but as a young person beginning a professional career.

Although I was unable to make it back to visitation tonight from Charlotte, during the ride home I had the opportunity to share how Sidney touched my life and gave me the opportunity to begin my career in banking with my 14 year old son. Sidney is still touching the lives of those who knew him and those of future generations.

    Please accept my deepest condolences.

    With love and sympathy,
    Bob Roberts
