Stanley T. Barringer

A native of Eldorado, AR he was a son of the late Edmond Spencer and Daisy Flora Meggs Barringer. He worked as an inspector for the NC Highway Department. He was also preceded in death by a son, John A. Barringer and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Gaynell Doris East Barringer; three sons, Anthony Barringer and Tim Barringer of Asheville and Michael Barringer of Houston, TX.; a brother, Charles Barringer of Abingdon, MD and two grandchildren, Stephanie and Tommy Barringer.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Reverend Robert Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
