Stephanie Anne Pignatiello
On Thursday afternoon, Stephanie Anne Pignatiello went to meet Jesus face to face. She left a heartbroken family, especially her mom, dad, and younger sister. Her passing was sudden and very unexpected.
Stephanie was 21 years old and had just graduated Cum Laude from Dartmouth College last month. She had double majored in Psychology and Linguistics with a minor in Chinese. She was a Neukom Scholar as well as a beloved member of Phi Tau fraternity within the larger Dartmouth family.
Stephanie was one of the most compassionate people we knew. She was always ready to assist someone or something in need. The stories of her generosity with her time and talents are overwhelming us.
Stephanie valued her individuality. She lived her life in her own way. She moved through this world differently than the rest of us. She was beyond brilliant and thought differently than the rest of us. She didn't relate like the rest of us. Stephanie was a challenge for many people. Those who were privileged to see her true heart, however, were very blessed.
On earth, Stephanie was respected and admired by her family and close friends. This world's loss is Heaven's gain. She is at peace in Jesus' arms now. We will miss her dearly and look forward to sharing Heaven's glory with her some day.
Please join us for a "Celebration of Stephanie's Life" at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 1st, 2012 at Seacoast, 123 Sweeten Creek Road in South Asheville.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in Stephanie's name to either of these charities, both of which are very special to our family: Memory Care www.memorycare.org/supportthemac.htm 828-771-2219 or to On Eagle's Wings Ministries www.oewm.net/#!donate 877-276-8023.

Steve,
Rita and I were saddened to learn about the loss of your daughter. We also have a daughter named Stephanie. I remember meeting her the first time I came to your home to pick up some wine. She was young and full of energy. Please know that Rita and I have you, your family and your former wife in our thoughts and prayers.

I was saddened to read this in the paper. I can’t imagine the pain you must be going through. R.I.P. Stephanie, prayers for the family.
Stephanie was my student and I will greatly miss her brilliant analytical mind and her warm heart. My heartfelt condolences to her family.
I remember Stephanie as a sweet, quiet, thoughtful young lady. She seemed very comfortable being herself and tried to reveal her individuality as best as she could. With her gentle spirit, brilliant mind and creativity, she had so much to offer in making this world a better place. Her unexpected sudden passing is extremely difficult to except. I praise God that He provided a way for us to see her again with His gift of eternal life. My prayers are with you – Gail, Steve, Christi and Gloria. I pray that the Lord will send to each of you His ministering angels to give you strength and comfort at this time. I love you.
