Stephen Lonnie Justice, 49, of Asheville, died Monday, November 21, 2011, at his residence. Born in Vero Beach, FL, he was a son of the late Garland L. and Carolyn Jones Justice. He was a laundromat owner and operator, a member of Rosehill Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, and a veteran of the US Navy. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Wilson Justice; daughter, Sherrie Justice-McClure and her husband, Johnathan of Fairview; two granddaughters, Danica Grace McClure and Sydnee Hope McClure who were the joys of his life and whom he loved spending time with. Also surviving is his favorite buddy, Lily, his dog. A funeral service for Mr. Justice will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Rosehill Baptist Church. The Revs. Chester Owenby and Bobby Earwood will officiate and burial will be in New Salem Cemetery in Arden. Visitation with the family will be from 11:30 till 1:00 prior to the funeral service. Memorials may be made to Care Partners Hospice, P.O. Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813 or to Mission Children's Hospital, C/O Memorial Campus, 509 Biltmore Ave., Asheville, NC 28801. Groce Funeral Home, Tunnel Road, is assisting the Justice family.
