Sue Brown Plemmons

SUE BROWN PLEMMONS LEICESTER – Sue Brown Plemmons, 79, of Browntown Rd., died Thursday, November 11, 2010. A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of Ezetta Cara Robinson Brown of Asheville and the late James Russell Brown. Mrs. Plemmons was a graduate of Leicester High School, and she was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, John D. Plemmons; children Janet P. Combs and her husband, Jim, of Bristol, VA; John David Plemmons, Jr., and his wife, Martha, of Leicester; and Jennifer Lynn P. Robinson and her husband, Michael, of Leicester; also grandchildren James David Combs, Jason Anderson Combs, Jonathan Russell Combs, John Mark Plemmons, Christopher Allen Robinson, AÅ„drea Lynn Robinson, and Brandon Austin Robinson; great-granddaughter Madelyn Grace Robinson; and sister Shirley B. Sluder of Leicester. A private service will be at Grace United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting the family.
