Sue Craig Gilbert

Sue Craig Gilbert, 71, of 335 Brevard Road, Asheville, died Thursday,
January 21, 1999 at her residence.
A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late James and
Vivian Neagle Craig and wife of the late Ralph D. Gilbert, who died in
1979.
She was a member of Haywood Street United Methodist Church, the
Eastern Star, the American Business Women's Association and was a
former employee of Asheville Federal Savings & Loan.
She is survived by her step-son Tony Gilbert and his wife Peggy of
Asheville; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday in the Ashelawn
Gardens of Memory conducted by the Rev. Jim Durham. The family will
receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 Tuesday at Groce Funeral Home on
Patton Avenue.
