Susanna Presley Pittillo

October 21, 1910 ~ May 25, 2002

A native of Buncombe Co., she was the daughter of the late George W. and Martha Lytle Presley and wife of the late Earl B. Pittillo. She also was preceded in death by a son, David Pittillo; a son-in-law, Ned Ray; a granddaughter, Karen Harris and ten brothers and sisters.
She is survived by three daughters, Martha Jane Pittillo, Juanita Hall, and her husband Bryan, Sarah Ray, and her husband Bennie; two sons, George Pittillo, and his wife Pauline, Clyde Pittillo, and his wife Loretta, all of Fletcher; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian conducted by the Rev. Harold McKinnish. Burial will follow at Bethany Methodist Church Cemetery on Brush Creek Road. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Her family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 pm Monday at the funeral home on Long Shoals Road.
