.Suzanne (Lance) Graham, 62, of Hendersonville, died Sunday, November 5, 2017 in her residence.
Born in Buncombe County, she was the wife of Charles Graham of Arden, and the daughter of the late Howard Millard and Roselyn Marie (Hallman) Lance. She was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Dockery.
Suzanne was employed by Tyco Electronics for 21 years and she attended Arden Missionary Baptist Church.
It was her deep faith and her love of the Lord that sustained her through her 4-year battle with cancer.
In addition to her husband of 8 years, she is survived by 3 sons: Donnie Parker of Hendersonville, Scott Graham (Kelly) of Candler, and Jason Graham (Beth) of Fletcher; 2 daughters: Malena Parker of Hendersonville and Tonya Smiddy (Kenny) of Weaverville; 9 grandchildren; a brother, Alan Lance of Mills River; and 3 sisters: Darlene Burnett of Hendersonville, Deborah Dockery of Asheville, and Donna Lance of Black Mountain.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with Pastors Stephen Israel, Scott Graham, and Carl Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Avery’s Creek Christian Cemetery. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
