Tami Mae Lanning, 66, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Mission Hospital.
Tami was born in Buncombe County to the late Walter and Lois Whitaker Lanning.
Tami retired from the U.S. Postal Service. She loved to travel and loved life. She was a wonderful, kind loving person and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her husband, Kenny Keever; a brother, Sonny Lanning and his wife, Mary of Seneca, SC and a niece Cindy Keever.
A funeral service for Tami will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Shepherd Memorial Park.
