Tammie Weitzel Woodby

A native of Homestead, Florida, she was a resident of Buncombe County since 1960, and was the daughter of E Vince and Novella Dalton Weitzel, Jr. of Fairview.

Tammie was a master cosmetologist and operated the Fairview Beauty Salon. She was loved by all of her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Mark A. Woodby; three sons Christopher George, Joshua Alan and James Patrick Woodby all of the home; a sister, Mardi Clairene Jenkins of Weaverville and a brother, Gerald Eugene Weitzel of Fairview.

Graveside services will be held at 3 pm Thursday in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend James Kirstein officiating.

The family will receive friends 7-8:30 Wednesday at Groce Funeral Home Patton Avenue.
