Teresa Anne Looney Rose, 55, of Candler, died on February 18, 2010 at St. Joseph Campus, Mission Hospitals. Born in San Diego, CA, Ms. Rose lived most of her life in Buncombe Co., and was a daughter of William F. Looney and of the late Barbara Anne Patterson Looney. She was also preceded in death by her son, Bryan Jackson. Ms. Rose was a member of Oak Hill United Methodist Church. She will be remembered as a lover of animals. She is survived by her father, William F. Looney. A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at Oak Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wes Austin officiating. Her family will receive friends following the service at church. Memorials may be made to the Asheville Humane Society, 55 Shiloh Road, Suite 6, Asheville, NC 28803, or to Oak Hill United Methodist Church, 277 Oak Hill Rd., Candler, NC 28715.
