Teresa "Sissy" Christopher, 52, passed away Friday, October 3, 2014.
A native of Columbus, GA, she was the daughter of Florence Owenby Christopher and of the late Thurman Christopher. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Mark Christopher and a sister, Carol Ann Christopher.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a brother, Johnny Christopher, a niece, Alexis Christopher and an uncle, Dale Owenby.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 pm Tuesday at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.
The family would like to especially thank the doctors and nurses at Park Ridge Hospital for their care of Teresa.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
