  1. Terry was a kind, loving generous sweet man.Words are so little during this time.I’m so so sorry for your loss.He fought a good fight, and he won the gran prize …to be with Jesus. It’s still hard to loss the ones we love. May Jesus wrap his arms around his family and show you what to do next.

  2. I believe strongly that when we pray for one another things happen! I’m praying for each of you, but especially for you as a family who have lost an awesome member! I watched Terry grow up and I have kept up with him on Facebook! He was a special man and my heart is broken for those who love him! He will always be remembered. My love and prayers are with you, Clesta, Bob, Barry and all his wonderful family. But he is now at peace. No more pain and being held in the arms of Jesus! That’s a joyful picture in a time of sadness. And to my dearest friend, Nancy, I know you are hurting and I hope you can feel my love. Your family has had to endure so much but you’ve all always shown such love and trust in Jesus! If what they say is true and what doesn’t destroy you makes you stronger, your family has to have the strength to hold up the world! Your faith is strong and you rely on it in the pain filled times! You are held in high esteem by all who know you because of that faith and the way it flows from you, not just in the hard times, but also the easy, good times! You all inspire me to be strong and faithful by your example! Love to each of you from the bottom of my heart!

  18. Dear Bowlin family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Please accept my sincere sympathies. The death of a loved one is such a challenging time for the entire family. I hope that you can find some comfort in God’s Word the Bible. Acts 24:15 says, ‘I have hope toward God…that there is going to be a resurrection…’ Here the Bible is assuring us that in the near future we have the hope of being reunited with our loved ones we have lost in death. May this promise be a comfort to you during this difficult time.

  20. Mr and Mrs Bowlin and Barry,
I was so saddened to hear of Terry’s passing. He was one of the nicest, sweetest and most respectful people I’ve ever known. I met Terry in high school and I have to say he was one of the most well liked people in our class. He was always so helpful and supportive of anything we had going on at EHS. He always was giving out uplifting compliments, advice and help. I don’t think we gave him nearly as much as he gave us. So many of my high school memories contain Terry and his sweet smile. I feel so fortunate to have known him and to have those sweet memories. It was nice to get reconnected with him on Facebook the past couple of years. Our class was very fortunate to have had Terry as a member and we will all miss him terribly every time we gather , but I can guarantee he will always be remembered and be there in spirit. My prayers are with all of you.

  21. To the Bowlin Family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember Terry from school. He was a sweet person. He was always smiling, always had a kind word, and was a true Carolina Tar Heel fan. I know the last few years have been tough on everyone but what contact I had with Terry always remained positive. He will be missed. Our prayers are with you all.

  25. Love to the family and may the Lord give peace at this time of Terry’s pass over the chilly jordan. May the Lord God Almighty receive praise.

  26. Terry and I went through West Buncombe and Erwin High school together. He was always a great guy with a super smile and was so friendly with everyone. I’m only sorry I didn’t see this sooner or I would have been to his service. May God bless each of you and give you comfort as only He can. May your memories of Terry be sweet and they are to me.

  27. So sorry for you loss, Terry’s family. He and I were buddies from 7th grade through high school. He always had a great sense of humor and a kind heart. Life here sometimes gets too busy to spend time with those you care about, but in heaven we will have eternity to catch up and hang out. To Terry’s parents, you raised him good and he brought you much honor with his life. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you and everyone else who knew and loved him.
