Terry Jo McKay Lankford, 67, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

Terry was born in Candler on May 16, 1957. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Lankford; her parents; and by her uncle, Eddie Hendrix, who was very special to her.

She had worked as a letter carrier for the USPS, and also enjoyed past jobs at Sam’s Club and as a driver for Mountain Mobility.

She is survived by her daughter, Meaghan Smith and husband Colton; son, Riyan Lankford; and grandchildren, Brooklyn Smith and Michael Smith.

Terry jo was a wonderful friend my best friend she was extremely smart very funny and had a personality different than anyone I’ve ever met. We shared so many wonderful times together. My life won’t be the same without her in it but I’ve been fortunate to have her in my life all of these years

Terry was such a lovable.and funny girl! Worked with her at.Mills Mfg. aǹd I will never forget her! I am so sorry for the loss of such a free spirit and great friend!
