Thelma Gaddy Gallamore

Thelma Gaddy Gallamore, 96, of Candler died
Monday, Nov. 9, 1998.

A native of Buncombe County, she was the
daughter of the late Charles and Addie Knighten
Gaddy and wife of the late Thomas J. Gallamore,
who died in 1960.  She was also preceded in
death by two daughters, Freida Crawford and
Estelle Williams.

Mrs. Gallamore was the oldest member of the
Mountain Home Primitive Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Lovella Glenn of
Asheville; two sons, Wayne T. Gallamore of
Candler and Calvin J. Gallamore of Arvonia, VA;
sister, Viola Lance of Mills River; brother,
Weldon Gaddy of Asheville; 11 grandchildren; 21
great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-
grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11 am Wednesday
in the Pisgah View Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30
pm Tuesday at Groce Funeral Home.
