Thelma Jean Fox

Mrs. Fox was born in Banner Elk, NC, and was preceded in death by her father, Ira Guinn, Sr., and a daughter, Cynthia Fox.  She was a dietician at Park Ridge Living Center and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

She was a loving mother and devoted wife and is survived by her husband, Vaughan James Fox;   her mother, Ruth H. Guinn;  a daughter, Rebecca Thompson;  two sisters and brothers-in-law, Phyllis and Bill Harvey Conner and Betty and Mathew Allen;  three brothers and their wives, Paul and Shirley Guinn, Ira and Jane Guinn, Jr., and John and Laurie Guinn.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday at Elk Valley Baptist Church in Avery County, with the Revs. Lawrence Fox and Billy McGuire officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
