Thelma Williams Darrough

She was born March 21, 1914 in Big Cove, Candler, to the late Charles and Nannie Cole Williams. She traveled with her husband Lt. Col. Glenn Darrough on many Army assignments throughout the US, Europe and Alaska until his retirement in 1965f when they returned home to Candler.

Mr. Darrough died in February 1991. She was also preceded in death by by two sisters Charity FGowler and Hattie Morgan; and two brothers Edom and Woodrow Williams.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law Linda Darrough, Lorraine and Art Boger; a sister Debbie Hall all of candler; two granddaughters Lisbeth Boger of Boulder, CO. and Diane Gordon of Minneapolis, MN; and a great granddaughter Baily Glenn Gordon.

A memorial service will be 3:00 pm Tuesday in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Reverend's Phillip Hurst and David Nard officiating. The family will receive folllowing the service.
