Thelma Williamson Crowe, 78, of Candler, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023 at Pisgah Manor Healthcare Center.
Born May 11, 1944 in Jackson County, Thelma was a daughter of the late Glen Lee Williamson and Mary Edda Murphy Griffin. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Odom, daughter, Michelle Odom, grandson, Tyler Odom, late husband, Ben Murray, and brothers Paul and Leroy Williamson.
She is survived by her sons, Kenny Odom (Diane) and David Odom (Christy); daughter-in-law, Myrna Odom; sisters, Maybelle Goforth, Geneva Dellinger and Aileen Collins; brothers, Russ Bryson and Henry Williamson; grandchildren, Melissa Hopkins (Lamon), Allen Odom (Mitzi), Selena Odom, Ruby Gonzalez, Kirstin Odom, Michelle Carver, Lacey Odom and Brittany Vance; and great-grandchildren, LJ Hopkins, Kinnley Payne and Lauren Carver.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
