Theodore 'T.C.' Parham
March 4, 1919 ~ May 4, 1999
Mr. Parham was born in Buncombe County and was a son of the late Lon
and Elizabeth Gantt Parham. He retired in 1984 after 32 years with Smoky Mountain Petroleum Co., and was a member of Kenilworth Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Gladys Jarvis Parham; three daughters, Sue Penland of Asheville, Pat Lail of Leicester, and Billie Joe Massie of Candler; two sons, Dean Parham of Candler and Tommy Parham of Asheville;
three sisters, Frances Sprinkle, Thedra Duckett, and Mary Stewart, all of Asheville; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Friday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Sprinkle officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
His family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home and request that memorials be made to the American Lung Association.
