Brooklyn, NY – Theodore A. "Ted" Hallas, 69, died Friday, July 17, 2009, at his home in Brooklyn, NY.
A native of Chicago, IL, he was raised Catholic and had lived in New York since 1976, where he worked as a film producer. He was preceded in death by his close companion, Vernon Parker.
He is survived by a cousin, Oma Wilsman, of Knoxville, TN.
Private interment will be at Green Hills Cemetery with Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue assisting with the arrangements.

I never knew you. Uncle Vernon was my step grandfathers son. I have great pictures of him when he was a young man and good memories of him. We lost touch after my mother died at a very young age. How sad for all of us. I’m glad you had him for 38 years and I am glad you are once again beside him.
