Theresa Shepherd Vassey, 54, of Asheville, died on Sunday, September 27, 2015, at her residence.
An Asheville native, Mrs. Vassey was a daughter of Dorothy Lillian Baber Shepherd and the late Earl Eugene Shepherd, Sr.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Bobby Ray Vassey; daughters, Jessica and Karla Vassey; son, James Vassey; grandchildren, Rosalie and Trenton Rice; and siblings: Diane Shepherd, Deborah Parrott, and Earl Eugene Shepherd, Jr.
A memorial service for Mrs. Vassey will be 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave.
