  3. I have many fond memories of Tom’s hard work in the Bryan Breakfast Lions Club. Please accept our Heartfelt condolences.
    Warm Regards,

  4. When family seas were rough I could always call and visit with Pop. We would laugh and he would tell me what you two were doing as well as what Richard and Mark were up to. He always made me feel better. I will always love and miss him. We will be praying for him and the rest of the family during the service tomorrow.

  5. Thomas will be greatly missed here in Calvert. Texas! He was worth his weight in gold and had a heart as big as Texas… I will miss his warm smile and devilish grin when he got that mischevious look in his eye! Love you Kay and will be thinking of you and yours today…
    Sonny Moss

  6. Thomas Lane Jones – what a guy. I just can’t think of a more giving and generous person. He loved his wife, Kay, more and more each day of their marriage. ‘My Blond’ he would call her.
We met 20 some-odd years ago when I needed an accountant. It must have been a ‘God Thing’ because Thomas Lane was such a professional. I, on the other hand, am very ‘casual’ with paperwork. I always told him that I was training him for his more difficult clients. He was always caring and listening to my hairbrained ideas.
We became best friends along with Kay and my husband ‘Sugar’ Frank. Attending Aggie football games with high fives and kisses, lunch at Dairy Queen and breakfast at Ama’s – we always had fun with Thomas Lane’s enthusiasm and zest for life.
He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed. It is nice to know that I will see him again some day in heaven with Jesus.
Kay, you have been and are still blessed. We will continue to keep you in our prayers.
    Love, Sandy
