Thomas Luther "Tom" Creasman, 70, of 170 Swannanoa Avenue, Asheville, and part time resident of Elberton, GA, died Wednesday, September 9, 2009, in Asheville.
Mr. Creasman was born in Buncombe County and was a son of the late Edwin M. and Relda Robeson Creasman. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Creasman. He was a former Mason and Shriner and was retired as a driver from Smith Transfer Company. He was also associated with C&C Chemical Co. in Asheville.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Louise Waycaster Creasman; one sister, Virginia Young and her husband, Jim; two brothers, Wayne Creasman and Bill Creasman and his wife, Joan, all of Asheville, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Revs. Kevin Creasman and Ken Creasman officiating. Interment will follow at Lewis Memorial Park.
His family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Tom. He was a good and honest man. He gave me strength in the bad times and laughter in the good times. His words gave life to everyone that knew him. He will be missed by everyone.
