Tom was by far without a doubt at the top of the list of being my favorite cousin. He was 10 years younger than my Mom, Mildred Doe Szabo, and they grew up together in NC.
I loved his tall tales and we had a special bond from my childhood to the last time I spoke with him June 2017 just after Mom died. It was then that I called telling him about Mom and he told me Marian had died also. My heart hurt. We spoke at length and reminded each other of the “special bond” we had. It was a treasured phone call just as recalling memories from the 50’s and 60’s.
Tom, I will NEVER forget you and you will always be in my heart as being that very special cousin. Love, Bernadette (Bernie)
I just now saw this. Thank you so much
Dad loved and talked about our wonderful family and how much he loved us. This is so nice to see and oh how I miss him! With love, Kathleen Keating
