Thomas William Allen, 87, died Sunday, October 16, 2016, at Mission Hospital.
Born in Monmouth, NJ, Mr. Allen was a son of the late Charles and Helen Allen. He was married to Jean B. Allen, who died in 2011. Mr. Allen was a former boiler technician and air conditioning mechanic.
He is survived by sons, Thomas Allen and wife, Kerri, and Patrick Allen and wife Patricia; grandchildren, Shannon Allen, Kyle Jean Allen and Patrick Allen, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Morgan Allen and Alex Rouskas.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.

I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. I personally know the loss of a loved one, and the pain can seem overwhelming. However I found comfort in the Bible’s promise for the future. Acts 24:15 speaks of a resurrection, a time when God will reunite us with our loved ones again! I hope this helps bring some comfort in this time of sorrow.
