Timothy “Tim” Alvin Randall, 52, of Hendersonville, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017. A native of Buncombe County, Tim was the son of Dorothy Roberts Rommel and of the late Alvin Randall. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Bobbie Williams. In addition to his mother, Tim is survived by his longtime special friend, Tammy Garren, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and a tremendous number of friends. Tim was a long distance truck driver. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with friends, fast cars, fishing, guitars and rock and roll music. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 4 in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with Reverend David Honeycutt officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hills Cemetery and his family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 PM on Wednesday. A Celebration of Tim’s Life will also be held starting at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 8 at his residence. Flowers are appreciated, but for those who choose, memorial donations may be made in Tim’s name to the Family Life Center at Skyland Baptist Church, 2115 Hendersonville Road, Arden, NC 28704.
