Timothy Brian Jones, 39, of Leicester, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, August 15, 2009. He fought a good fight and kept the faith. A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of Arnold and Mary Sue Bishop Jones, of Black Mountain. He had a kind-hearted and loving spirit and was a devoted husband of 19 years, loving father and faithful Christian. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved the Lord, church and his family. Guestbook

  1. Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free
I’m following the path God laid for me
I took His hand when I heard His call
I turned my back and left it all

I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I’ve found that peace at the close of the day

If my parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy
    A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Ah yes, these things I too will miss

Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow
My life’s been full, I savored much
Good friends, good times, and a loved ones touch

Perhaps my time seemed so brief
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief
Lift up your heart and share with me
God wanted me now, He set me free
