Todd Allan Schultz, 45, of 10 Tar Hill Drive, Marshall, died Monday, July 7, 2008. Mr. Schultz was born in Detroit, MI. He is survived by his mother, Marilee VanAssche of Leicester; his father, Lloyd E. Schultz of Grosse Pointe Woods, MI; two sons, Jesse James Schultz and Jonathan David Schultz of Marshville; one sister, Elizabeth Nolan of Charlotte and one brother, Mark Schultz of Pittsboro. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home and the family will receive friends immediately following the service. Memorials may be made to ABCCM, 30 Cumberland Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801.

  5. On behalf of the staff and residents of Grace Healthcare of Asheville (formerly Blue Ridge Rehab) I would like to express our sadness to hear of the passing of dear Todd. He was such a joy to know the months he spent here with us. We were so delighted when he was able to get his prosthesis and go home. Todd was blessed to have a mother who stood by him so faithfully. Please know that we truly cared for him. He could always make us smile.You are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
