Thomas "Tom" John Bellefeuil, 57, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at his residence. Tom was born on January 16, 1958 in Iowa to Don Bellefeuil and the late Judith Ann Nowack Bellefeuil. Tom graduated Brevard High School and then UNC Greensboro and retired as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. He and his wife were members of Skyland United Methodist Church. Tom loved traveling and he loved to golf and was an avid UNC basketball and football fan. He was an excellent father, grandfather, husband and friend and will be missed by all. Tom is survived by his wife, Jan Sizemore; his father and step mother, Don Bellefeuil and Betty Bellefeuil; two children, Courtney Teran (Tristan) and Cameron Bellefeuil; step-son, Cory Sizemore; brothers and sisters, Cindy Bellefeuil, Mark Bellefeuil (Kathy B.), Mike Bellefeuil (Sandy), Tammy Bellefeuil, Amy Lerch (Dave), Melonie Richburg, Glen Dennis (Connie) and Sheri Korn (Robby); one granddaughter, Ava Teran and several nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held at Skyland Methodist Church with Reverend Keith Turman officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Manna Food Bank, 627 Swannanoa River Road, Asheville, NC 28805.

  6. I was so sorry to hear about Tom. I have many fond memories of working with him at the ASC. Tom was a complete joy to work with, I always enjoyed his stories. He was so proud of his family, always had such nice things to share about you guys! May your happy memories bring you comfort during this time.

  16. So sorry to hear of Tom’s passing! I grew up with he and his brothers and sisters in Brevard and attended UNCG, too. I’ll always remember him as a great guy and a wonderful friend. My heart goes out to all of you, and I pray for God’s comfort and peace.

Tom was one of John and Alan’s best friends and I remember him fondly especially during those high school years when he was in and out of our house. I am so sad to hear of his passing.   20. Courtney: I am so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. Hannah told me earlier this evening as she saw where you posted it on social media. The little I knew your Dad I felt his kindness and gentleness. I unexpectedly saw him in the pre-op area prior to my mastectomy several years ago. Even then he provided some comfort to me. I just know he was so proud of you. Now he is in a better place and suffers no more–at the ready to do good works for our Lord. Know that he will continue to live on in your memories of him until you meet again.

  23. Please accept my condolences as you grieve the loss of Tom. I worked with him in the OR and chose him to do my anesthesia when I had surgery. He was smart, funny and just a great guy. He will be missed by many who loved him.
