Deepest sorrow for your trajec loss.
I knew Tonda from working with her in Fort Worth. She was a great friend and a terrific person. She always saw the best in everyone and in life. I will miss her more than words can ever express. My very heart felt sympathy to her family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Tonda’s pragmatic and determined approach to her illness and life was amazing and an inspiration. We didn’t know her for as long as so many others, or for as long as we would have liked, but she has made a lasting impression.
I will always remember her ‘Is it a brain tumour? Then get over it!’ I enjoyed her humour and the time I spent with her in October. I only wish it could have been longer.
Little Tonda was named after my mom, Tonda Morgan White. I love all of you!
Tonda and I were best friends from the day we met at Texas Tech, through Miller Girls, Tech graduation, and today. She had a unique way of opening your hearts and minds to new things. She and her family will always be in my heart and mind. I love and miss you TondaBear.
Beth — Just heard your sad news and my heart breaks for your loss. I know He comforts you, but that doesn’t make you miss her any less. I was just looking at old pictues and remembering how alike my little Holly and your little Tonda were. You were always such a wondeful mom and I’m not surprised that she grew into such a beautiful and much loved young woman. Know that we are praying for you.
I didn’t know Tonda, but I’m a good friend of Pat and Jack’s and wanted to express my condolences.
To Tonda’s Family we extend our deepest sympathy. We never had the privilege of knowing Tonda, however prayed often for her. May God’s loving arms wrap tightly around you, and in spite of your sorrow, may you find solace in the fact that Tonda is now pain free, and enjoying the tender love and friendship of her Heavenly Father. I Corinthians 15: 49-58. Marv and Marion Shuck, Deacons at Fallbrook Presbyterian Church.
My deepest sympathy to all of Tonda’s family. Tonda was a very courageous girl, she showed such strength even when she was very ill. It was an honor and a privilege to have known her, although it was for a very brief time.
We would like to extend our sympathies to the Haynes Family. We were friends with Tonda in college, and unfortunately, just received word of her passing. We are very sorry for your loss. Tonda was a lot of fun to hang out with, and would frequently come to my band’s performances around town, even being one of the few who would actually dance!. She will be missed.
Jamie & Amy Sanders
We remember Tonda being outside your home, working on her bike or on the truck with Chas. We miss having her next door.
Beth,
I think it’s safe to say that one of the most comforting feelings one can have when in a new city and school is finding that very first friend. Having someone to take you in and show you the ropes can truly make all the difference in the world. Fortunately for Pamela and me, Tonda was in fact our very first friend in Albuquerque. I’ll forever remember her kindness, and will continue to always make special effort to include the ‘new’ person in her honor.
Please know you continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Todd W. Kirby

To Tonda’s family…
We want you to know that our thoughts
and prayers are with you during this
difficult time. Tonda was definitely a
special friend to us. Her energy and
humor will be greatly missed. It is
often so difficult to understand God’s
plan in each of our lives. Our prayer
for your family is for an overwhelming
sense of comfort and peace as well as
the daily reminder of Tonda’s beautiful
smile shining down on us. Though our time
with Tonda was short, her memory will forever
be in our hearts. God bless & keep you and
your family.
Love,
Misti & Tim Barron
I have special memories from knowing Tonda in Albuquerque, but I will never forget the night she came to my dorm room my freshman year at Texas Tech. At that moment, God knew that I needed an encouraging word and bright smile. All four years, the encouragment never stopped and the smiles never faded. She was a blessing in my life and will be greatly missed.
Beth and Chas…your Faith is a wonderful example. My prayers are with you.
For a ‘twirpie little sister’, this Gal had a GRIP on life and what was important: God. There is hope in knowing the goodbyes she and I gave each other, were not really goodbyes, but ‘GODbyes’. We will see her again, and OH what a feeling that is!

Tonda was a sweetheart who touched a very special part of my life. I’ll miss her.
Dear Beth & Chas, my thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family. If Tonda was like you Beth, she was a wonderful girl.
Love,
Mary
Tonda had a spirit that was so fresh and wonderful to be around. We only knew each other for a short period of time, but I felt as if I had known her all my life. My prayers are always with her family.
When I first met Tonda she lived next door to me in Albuquerque. She was about 9 or 10. I was a newly-wed, no children then. She would come over and visit, a very sweet child. We both loved animals and each of us had a cat and a dog so we’d talk about the funny or goofy things the ‘fuzzballs’ had done lately. She was a great introduction and primer to the child I would have later.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Beth and Chas and their extended family.

Beth,
It was good to see you of late,we can truly say we know what you’re going through, our Jeff died in 1984. May God give you the strength as he did us to get through the rest of your life. G/F
We miss Tonda and her warm smile very much. Although I had known her through April during a few meetings in our teens, it was really nice to get to know her even better when she lived in Central Texas. She was a wonderful sister to April and Dawn, and a good friend. Our sympathy goes the entire family on your loss.
I remember years ago when you visited here when Tonda was about four and she and Anna Ree played in the sandbox
I am so sorry, and I didn’t know until I rec’d your Christmas letter. I am so thankful for your faith and that your strength comes from almighty God. He gives us such comfort and peace in times like these.
I remember the great time we all had in Las Vegas when Tonda and Beth came on a trip Chas and I flew together just after Tonda’s 21st Birthday. Tonda was so happy and full of life. Quite an inspiration for me to be able to share that special time with her and her family. God Bless and Godspeed Tonda!
Chas & Beth,
There are no words that we can say to ease your pain. May the spirit of God give you peace and may His love fill your hearts.
God Bless You!
In Him,
Richard & Sonia Galvan
Beth, to say that this ‘takes my breath away,’ is so inadequate. Knowing Tonda’s Mother, Beth, 45 years ago in high school and then to see a picture of such a beautiful child and to know Tonda was our Beth Trantham’s child makes the heart feel like it is breaking.
‘Our sweet Beth’ is enduring a loss that is indescribable. Beth, with your faith, I know that ‘the day’? when there will be a grand reunion and no more parting, gives you peace and strength.
I am honored Beth that you shared Tonda’s life with me. ‘Our Beth’? of ACR, 1965, did not deserve such a loss. May God’s mercy and grace continue to be with you Beth until that homecoming that is going to ‘right all the wrongs,’? give joy to the brokenhearted and we will never have to leave our loved ones again.
I am so sorry, Beth, that this beautiful child, Tonda, was taken by a horrid disease. I love you Beth and I will continue to pray for your strength ‘until that day.’?
With much love to you, Beth, and all who are still missing Tonda, Dianne Burleson Phillips
Dear Beth, Thank you for sharing about your daughter, Tonda. I am deeply touched to know you, her beloved Mother, and to see the image of your daughter. She lived with vitality and love and touched so many in her lifetime. I am so sorry for your loss. I know you’re welcoming a tiny granddaughter soon, let me know all about her! With love, Nicole Becker
