Tony Eugene Fisher

Anthony E. Fisher, 52, formerly of Asheville, died Wednesday, August 26, 2009, in Statham, GA. A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Samuel Eugene and Evelyn Parker Fisher. Tony is survived by his wife, Laura Lakenan Fisher; two sons, Ryan Fisher and Michael Fisher of the home; sisters and brother, Brenda Morgan and husband Ron, Barbara Busbee, Larry Fisher and wife Diane; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 12, 2009, in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Jackie Collins officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
