Anthony E. Fisher, 52, formerly of Asheville, died Wednesday, August 26, 2009, in Statham, GA. A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Samuel Eugene and Evelyn Parker Fisher.
Tony is survived by his wife, Laura Lakenan Fisher; two sons, Ryan Fisher and Michael Fisher of the home; sisters and brother, Brenda Morgan and husband Ron, Barbara Busbee, Larry Fisher and wife Diane; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 12, 2009, in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Jackie Collins officiating.
The family will greet friends following the service.

Laura..I can’t express how sorry I was to hear about Tony. You have been on my mind, and in my prayers constantly, ever since I first heard the news. I will continue to remember both you and your boys in this time of sorrow.
