Arden – Robert Anthony “Tony” Kelley, 47, of Heywood Road, died unexpectedly Thursday, January 27, 2005. A native of Miami, Florida, Tony was the son of Richard M. Kelley of Asheville and Frances Hensley Kelley of Arden, with whom he made his home. Tony had been a hairdresser in the Asheville area for many years. In addition to his parents, Tony is survived by his stepmother, Carolyn Kelley; a sister, Martha Moore and her husband, Gary, of Black Mountain; two brothers, Ronald Kelley of Fairview and Mike Kelley and his wife, Monica, of Flat Rock; ten nieces and nephews and Tony was especially fond of his great niece. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian conducted by the Rev. W.C. Hensley. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to Samaritan’s Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
