Travis Marie Day, 71, of 155 Wilson Road, Fairview, died Wednesday , December 25, 2002, at her home.
Mrs. Day was born October 4, 1931, in Baltimore, MD, to the late John and Elizabeth Long Oden and was married for 52 years to Chester Thomas Day who died in 1999. She attended Biltmore Baptist Church and St. Barnabas Catholic Church.
She is survived by three sons, Thomas Day of Westminster, MD, James Day of Asheville, and David Day of Fairview; eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Thursday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road.
Her family will receive friends following the service Thursday at the funeral home.
