Tyler Foster, 26, of Alexander, died Sunday, August 27, 2017. Tyler was born October 1, 1990 in Buncombe Co. He worked as the parts manager for Shealy's Truck Center, and was a founding member and road captain of the Rebelbonz Brotherhood. Tyler is survived by his parents, father Donnie Foster (Jill), and mother, Krista Glenn (David); paternal grandmother Margie Blackburn (Jim); maternal grandparents, Pete and Dotsy Penland; step brothers Kyle and Kolton; and step sister Kelli. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Bernice Foster. A memorial service for Tyler will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Pastor Mike Wilson with Freedom Biker Church will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, PO Box 8195, Asheville, NC 28803.

  1. Tyler was a very special young man. Years ago he walked into the Sunday School class that I was teaching at Cedar Hill Baptist Church and stole our hearts. He never seemed to meet a stranger and his beautiful smile could light up a dark room.
    I am truly so very sorry for this great loss. You all are in my prayers.

  6. I will never forget Tyler, he came crashing into my life and made himself a very important part of my family, as a cherished and fiercely loyal, over protective little brother. The experiences that the 3 musketeers, Tyler, DL and me (TreeTree), made will be ones I hold close to me forever. My heart goes out to all family and friends in this sad time.

  7. Tyler came into our lives and everything change. He was so humble. We took him in as one of our kids. He always had my back, and anyone who knew him was honored. Rest easy my brother, and say hello to my dad and all the other close people we have lost. Until we meet again. Thank you for everything you have done. I love you son!

  12. We are so sorry for the loss of Tyler. This young man and his family came into our lives when he was about 3 or 4 years old and became a huge part of my son’s life as one of his closest friends. He became a surrogate big brother to our daughter and our nieces too. He became family. We loved him like family. Rest in peace precious. You will forever be in our hearts
