Ulysses Barnwell

Ulysses Barnwell, 83, of 3610A Chimney Rock Rd., Hendersonville, died Sunday, December 3, 2000 at his residence. A native of Hendersonville, he was a son of the late William Floyd and Mary Jane Merrell Barnwell. Mr. Barnwell was a retired self employed apple farmer. He is survived by his sister, Pauline Halford of Asheville. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Barnwell Baptist Church Cemetery in Edneyville. Reverend Willard Rhodes will officiate. No formal visitation is planned. Groce Funeral Home, Patton Avenue is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Barnwell Baptist Church, Rt. 22, Box 251A, Hendersonville, NC 28792.
