  7. Vaughtie was an amazing lady. She always had a ready smile. She loved a good teasing, and her laugh was infectious.

To all the family members, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

  8. Sara and family of Vaughtie-
Gail told me this week of Vaughtie’s passing and I wanted to express my sympathy for your loss. I adored Vaughtie and her witt especially when she used to tell me how ‘old’ Ms Ball was compared to her when she was still alive (Ms. Ball). I have missed this year seeing Sara and Vaughtie, and hope to return to NC in the spring. May the joy and longevity of her life fill all of us with peace and the knowledge we were blessed to have known her.
    Love always,
Kathryn Moore (former nurse at The Baptist Home)

  9. To all of Vaughtie’s family:
I work at the baptist home, and I want you all to know that Vaughtie was truely a blessing. ALWAYS happy and smiling, she would pull me down and give me a kiss on the side of my face. I was so happy to be there in her last minutes and afterwards to be able to do the same to her. I thank the Lord that I got to meet such a special person. We are all truely lucky. God bless you.
