Dear Family,
Veenie was a beautiful woman! Veenie just lacked a little over 2 months of
being 100!! Wow! Veenie helped me bridge the many gaps in my genealogy with all of her oral and written information. Veenie was a story teller and I enjoyed
listening to her bring our ancestors to life as she told the events of their
lives. Veenie also had pictures of our family and shared these pictures so that
I could put a face with the name.
Veenie welcomed me into the family and I enjoyed the many hours we spent together. Now Veenie has been welcomed into the arms of Jesus. May you have good memories for comfort, family and friends for their support and smiles to ease your sorrow. With heartfelt sympathy, Loretta Wilson Reynolds
(Joseph Pickney Morrow was my great grandfather.)
Dear Family, I wish I could have been with you today but I had to work. Aunt Veenie had the best smile and laugh and I always looked forward to playing at their house as a little girl. I know she is home with so many other family members now. You all are in my prayers and thoughts, Love always. Tammy Morrow Phillips
‘God
is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.’ (Psalm 34:18) I’m sorry for your loss; may God provide you and your family with
peace and comfort during this difficult time.
My mother, Barbara O. Hill, her niece, loved this lady. She talks about her all the time. What a blessing my Great Aunt Veenie must have been!
