So grateful we got to know Verdie several years ago when she was being a caretaker of her wonderful parents. Verdie and two other sisters took marvelous care of their parents 24/7 for many years. Her respect for her dear parents made an awesome impression on me. Always putting someone else before herself.
Verdie was always speaking of her wonderful family and her parents that she loved dearly. She will be greatly missed and her inspiration to live was proven her last few months of life. No doubt, this lady is in a much better place than here on earth. Love and prayers for her caring family….
Thank you for thinking of us.
You’re a kind & caring friend.

I always enjoyed working with Verdie at Pardee. She was a super sweet lady and always brought sunshine to the people around her.
That’s so sweet of you to remember Verdie. Warms our hearts to know she meant so much to you.
Verdie my sweet friend, my sister in Christ you and your sisters made my childhood a lot more happy than it would have been without you. I looked up to you in grade school you were smart someone I wanted to be like. I moved away to Ca. and now in our late years I think our relationship just got a little more sweet and real. I pray that your sweet sisters have peace with you moving away. My love for the family continues and I pray one day we will be united.
Dear Neoma
Thank you so much for your sweet sentiments. We appreciate & love you so much.
Verdie worked for a little while with my father, Jim MacDonald, who passed away in 2009. She was very kind to us throughout his final years. But what truly amazed me, and touched me profoundly, was her regular cards and calls to my mother, Fran, who lived another 9 1/2 years after my father passed. I had only met Verdie a couple of times, and did not really know her personally, but her constancy and thoughtfulness throughout that time carved a place in my heart for this truly kind and Christian woman. I mourn her loss and send my deepest sympathy and condolences to her family.
Verdie spoke of Mr Macdonald so often to us when she visited her family in TN.
She so enjoyed working with him & he touched her heart. Thank you for what you shared. So sweet of you to remember her to us. God bless you, Susan.
Sorry for your loss. Sweet Verdie will be misses. Love to all
Renae, dear one, thank you so much for your prayers & your kind heart. She will be missed; no doubt about that, by so many. Love you
