Guestbook

  1. My belated prayers and sympathy for Vernon’s family. I was his manager at Overnite for 15 years and he was a very dedicated employee. I still try to keep up with all of the Overnite retirees in Asheville and I am sorry I am late hearing about Vernon’s passing.

  2. To the Parham and McClure Families,
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I got to know Vernon from delivering the mail and chating with him. He will be truly missed. May God’s grace overshadow you during this difficult time.

  3. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you during this very difficult time. We pray that God will comfort and sustain you. Celia, we love you and will especially pray that God will wrap His loving arms around you, your Mother and the rest of your family to provide comfort as only He can.
    Sent with love and prayers,
    The Maynor Family

  4. My prayers are with all of you during this time and for the days ahead. God’s grace is sufficient; I pray for Him to comfort you and for you to be able to feel the love and prayers of everyone.

  5. Celia and family,
So sorry for your loss. There will never be another one like him! I’m keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers now and in the days to come.
    Mary and Doug

  6. Joyce, Celia and Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. We both understand what you must be going through. Charles enjoyed working with Vernon. He had many friends and will be greatly missed. May God give you comfort during this sad time.

  7. Joyce, Celia, David, Kaitlyn and Victoria
We certainly thought alot of Vernon. Wonderful man! We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. The loss of a father, grandfather and husband is so very hard, but know the angels are smiling down on you.
    All our love,
