Vesta Kesner Van Geem

Mrs. Van Geem was born in Upper Tract, WV, and was a daughter of the late Edward and Orrie Hevener Kesner. She attended the West Virginia Institute of Technology and did graduate work at the University of Kentucky. She was a former librarian at the Army Library in the Pentagon. She was married to the late John Delmar Van Geem and was a former resident of Pennsylvania, Florida and Hendersonville before moving to Asheville.
Surviving are two daughters, Virginia Donegan of Leicester and Lynette Peterson of Greenville, NC, and one granddaughter, Jennifer Donegan of Leicester.
Funeral services and burial will be Monday in Erie Pennsylvania under the direction of Burton Funeral Home.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue in in charge of local arrangements.
