Vickie Williams Tipton

VICKIE WILLIAMS TIPTON ASHEVILLE – Vickie Williams Tipton, 49, of Smith Graveyard Rd, died on Wednesday, January 12, 2011. A native of Buncombe Co., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Lennivee Bradley Williams. Mrs. Tipton was a former employee of Nypro Plastic Co., and was a member of Luther Pentecostal Church. She is survived by three sons, Casey Tipton and wife, Michelle, of Asheville; Travis Tipton and wife, Savannah, of Candler, and Steven Tipton of Candler; and by four grandchildren, Brody Tipton, Xavier Hendricks, Rebekah Tipton, and Gage Tipton. A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Grove Funeral Home, with the Revs. Betty Drake and Cody Sturgill officiating. Interment will follow in the Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Groce Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
