Vincent dePaul Edward Mahood

Vincent dePaul Edward Mahood, 95 of 17 Wellington Drive, Arden, died Tuesday, April 13, 1999 in a local health care facility.
A native of Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Samuel and Alicia Hughes Mahood. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine R. Mahood in 1963, by his second wife, Catherine S. Mahood in 1983 and by his son, James Vincent Mahood in 1990.
A resident of Arden since 1972, he was a former chief clerk for the Medical Examiner of New York City and was a life member of the New York City Civil Service Retired Employees Association. He was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church and the Young At Heart group.
He is survived by a daughter, Patricia Smith of Arden; a son, Edward Mahood of Albany, NY; a daughter-in-law, Catherine Mahood of Somers, NY; sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm Wednesday at St. Barnabas Catholic Church conducted by Fr. John Schneider. Interment will be in St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
